About Us
Tastic Limited was founded in Lewes, East Sussex, by Paul Gower and Adrian
Stovold at the start of 2004. Before that, Paul and Adrian were already working
together at another company, where their major projects included the
development of the Blockbuster Entertainment website, including a much-copied
DVD Rental By Post service. The system included a large online store and
warehouse stock control system, handling tens of thousands of products.

Paul has over ten years' experience in website development, and has delivered
major projects for Cable and Wireless, Conde Nast and the Sussex Police
Authority, amongst others. His recent work for large organisations has included
intranet and extranet projects for MK Airlines, and a series of new websites
for the COBRA network of insurance brokers companies.
Adrian has considerable experience of developing web-based systems for the
public and non-profit-making sector, having been the lead programmer on a pilot
video-on-demand television project for the NHS that was a forerunner of the NHS
Direct Digital TV service. We are very aware of the importance of security and
confidentiality when building sensitive websites and intranets, and were very
pleased to have recently been awarded the contract for another intranet service
for the NHS.
Whilst we're serious about the things that matter (we're members of the
UK Web Design Association - the web standards organisation in the UK),
we're also pretty relaxed. As we don't maintain a suite of offices, we
have a good excuse to hold our meetings in more informal settings,
such as the Rainbow in Lewes, which is something of a second
