Why Choose Tastic?
Many people, companies and organisations need a more tailor-made solution than
is offered by the many off-the-shelf or 'cookie-cutter' website packages.
However, they would rather pay lower prices than those typically charged by
large IT companies, whose business structure and high overheads often mean that
their clients' projects are all saddled with large development teams and layers
of project management, regardless of whether the project really requires it.
Here at Tastic, we believe in a more streamlined approach that keeps our costs,
and therefore our prices, as low as possible. We don't lease any offices;
instead, our small core team of full-time analyst programmers works from home.
We don't keep an army of designers on a retainer; instead, we draw from a small
pool of tried-and-tested freelancers and small businesses, and we only bring in
these external skills if the project requires it. That means, for example, that
if you have your own in-house design capability, you won't end up paying for
ours!

The compact nature of our team enables us to develop a close working
relationship with our clients, but it doesn't mean that we only tackle small
projects. While some of our customers are small businesses looking for help to
set up their first 'proper' website, we also do work for much larger
organisations such as Cable & Wireless and the NHS. Even organisations who
would normally use their own in-house developers have found that our
tightly-focussed approach can be relied upon to deliver a timely and
cost-effective answer.
